What We Do
Patrol Downtown
The Mounted Patrol spends the majority of their time in the downtown area of Manchester. The horses are another form of transportation for the officers. The officers make car stops, write Motor Vehicle Citations, City Ordinances, and also make arrests.
Attend Cops & Kids at the City Elementary Schools
The horses visit the 14 elementary schools in the city, every year, visiting the children at Cops & Kids events. This gives the children a chance to meet and interact with the police officers on a friendly level.
Multiple Events
The horses are requested for multiple events throughout the city, and sometimes the state! The horses are a wonderful way to make a connection with the community.
